Default Wines and Temperature

What should be the right temperature for serving wine? Well, it depends upon the kind you are going to serve. But as a rule of thumb, red wine should be at 65 degrees Fahrenheit whereas white & rose wine must be at 55. Lastly, champagne & other bubbly should be at least 45 degrees Fahrenheit.

I like many of my whites around 60-65, the warmer the white the more flavors I can taste.

yes, if you serve a wine too cool, the flavors will all be hidden and if you serve a wine too hot, all you can taste is the alcohol.
