TN: 2001 Francesc Sanchez Montsalvat Priorat Popped and decanted. Consumed one hour later. Transparent brick red in the glass. Nose of olive, dusty soil, pepper, toasty oak, mint, vanilla. In the mouth, bright acidity initally and it rounded out as it was consumed. Earthy and peppery notes with blueberry, cranberry and raspberry flavors. Wonderful balanced finish.
