  Typical Don PX Gran Reserva with a motor oil like color and a nose of molasses and brown sugar. In the mouth this wine falls short of the fantastic 1971, never living up to expectations. While the '71 coats your mouth the '75 is thinner and hollow in the middle. On the palate there is plenty of raisins, toffee, coffee and nuts but the finnish is short and again this wine is a bit thin. If I had not had the '71 so many times I would have found this to be a great wine but when compared it does not stand up. (88 pts.)
